Data Deletion
You can ask us to delete the data AutoChat holds about you. Here is exactly how to do it, what gets deleted, and how quickly we respond.

How to request deletion
Step 1 — Send an email
Email irahulsamyal@gmail.com from any email address.
Step 2 — Include your Instagram username
Put your Instagram username in the message so we can locate your records. Without it we cannot identify which data to remove.
A subject line of "Data deletion request" helps us action it quickly.
Example message

Subject: Data deletion request
Please delete my data from AutoChat.
My Instagram username is: @your_username
Step 3 — We confirm
We action the request and email you a confirmation once your data has been removed.
What will be deleted
On receiving a valid request we permanently delete all records associated with your Instagram username, including:
- Your Instagram-scoped id and username
- Comment records linked to you — comment id, media id, comment text, and timestamps
- Records of any message we sent you — message id, delivery status, and timestamps
- Click events associated with you, including the opaque click id and the keyed hashes derived from your IP address and user-agent
As set out in our Privacy Policy, we never collect your profile data, follower lists, message history, email address, or phone number — so there is nothing of that kind to delete.
How long it takes
Requests are actioned within 30 days of receipt. In practice most are completed sooner.
Disconnecting the Instagram account
Separately, if you are the operator: disconnecting the Instagram account removes the stored credentials for that account from AutoChat.
Data that may be retained
We may retain a minimal record of the deletion request itself (the fact a request was made and when it was completed) so we can evidence compliance. This record contains no Instagram content and no personal identifiers beyond what is necessary to demonstrate the request was honoured.
All other data expires automatically under the retention schedule in our Privacy Policy, enforced by an automatic daily purge.
