1. Acceptance of these terms

By accessing or using AutoChat ("the Service"), you agree to these Terms of Service. If you do not agree, do not use the Service.

2. What the Service does

AutoChat is a self-hosted tool that watches comments on a connected Instagram professional account, sends each commenter one private reply containing a tracked link, and attributes any resulting Shopify order back to the originating post.

3. Provided "as is" — no warranty

The Service is provided "as is" and "as available", without warranty of any kind, express or implied. To the fullest extent permitted by law we disclaim all warranties, including any implied warranties of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, title, and non-infringement.

We do not warrant that the Service will be uninterrupted, timely, secure, or error-free, that message delivery will succeed, or that order attribution will be complete or accurate.

To the fullest extent permitted by law, the operator is not liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or exemplary damages, or for any loss of profits, revenue, data, or goodwill arising out of or relating to your use of the Service.

4. Acceptable use

You must not use the Service to:

• Send spam of any kind
• Send bulk messaging
• Send unsolicited messages to people who have not interacted with your content
• Harass, abuse, deceive, defraud, or mislead recipients
• Distribute malware, phishing links, or other harmful content
• Circumvent, disable, or interfere with any security, rate-limiting, or access-control feature of the Service or of the platforms it connects to
• Access accounts, data, or systems you are not authorised to access
• Use the Service for any unlawful purpose or in breach of any applicable law or regulation

The Service is designed to send one private reply per commenter. Attempting to use it for repeated or mass outreach is a breach of these terms.

5. Platform compliance

You must comply with Meta's Platform Terms and all applicable Meta and Instagram policies, including the Instagram Platform Policy and Developer Policies, at all times while using the Service.

Where you connect a Shopify store, you must likewise comply with Shopify's applicable terms and policies.

You are responsible for holding the rights and permissions necessary to connect any account you connect to the Service, and for ensuring your use complies with the platform rules that apply to that account.

6. Suspension and termination

The operator may suspend or terminate access to the Service, at any time and without notice, for abuse — including any breach of the acceptable use rules in Section 4, any breach of Meta's Platform Terms, or any activity that places the operator's platform access at risk.

You may stop using the Service at any time by disconnecting the Instagram account, which removes the stored credentials for that account.

7. Privacy and data

Our handling of data is described in the Privacy Policy, which forms part of these terms. Instructions for deleting your data are on the Data Deletion page.

8. Intellectual property

The Service, including its software and interface, remains the property of the operator. These terms grant no licence to copy, modify, distribute, resell, or create derivative works from the Service.

9. Changes to these terms

We may update these terms. The current version is always published at this URL with a revised "last updated" date. Continued use of the Service after a change constitutes acceptance of the updated terms.
